Amsterdam, 2022 - ★★★½

Was it actually good? I don’t know. Is Russell even a good filmmaker? I don’t know. 

Was Amsterdam a bit long. 100%. 

With all that said, I enjoyed the way this film spins out of control and luxuriates in the mess it makes alongside its oddball performances in a way no one but Russell could probably do. 

It’s a vibes movie that pretends to be a plot driven movie.
