I enjoyed this quite a bit. Austin Butler is sensational as Elvis. It’s definitely style over substance and I tend to like music bio pics when the focus is more on the music, which isn’t the case here, but I still found myself pretty enthralled. There’s probably a good 25min that could be cut from the second half of this movie alone, and I would have much preferred that time be focused on the music earlier on in his career. Still, I think I preferred this over Bohemian Rhapsody.
